A Cost Assessment of Advanced Nuclear Power

On July 25, 2017, the Nuclear Energy Institute organized a panel discussion to review findings of an EIRP report assessing the costs of advanced nuclear power plants. EIRP prepared the report in cooperation with the Energy Options Network.

John Kotek, Vice President of Nuclear Energy Institute, delivered opening remarks and NEI Senior Technical Advisor Everett Redmond moderated the meeting. Panelists included Samuel Thernstrom, EON Co-Founder Eric Ingersoll, Dr. Andrew Sowder of the Electric Power Research Institute, and Dr. T. Jay Harrison from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
