On September 14, 2021, EIRP and the Atlantic Council of the United States co-sponsored a panel discussion featuring the release of EIRP’s report Ambitious Mandates, Ambivalent Communities: Land Use Challenges to New York’s Renewable Power Goals.

Speakers included Richard Kauffman, Chairman of the New York State Energy Research & Development Agency and EIRP President Paul J. Saunders as well as Gavin Donohue, President and Chief Executive Officer, Independent Power Producers of New York; Joe Martens, Director, New York Offshore Wind Alliance, Alliance for Clean Energy New York; and Betta Broad, Director, New Yorkers for Clean Power, and Director, Advocacy & Organizing, Association for Energy Affordability.
